About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and oversee the accounts payable function. This role is responsible for managing daily AP operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and driving process improvements while partnering closely with accounting, procurement, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee full-cycle accounts payable operations

Lead, coach, and develop the AP team to ensure timely and accurate processing

Establish and maintain AP policies, procedures, and internal controls

Oversee invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs

Ensure proper coding to the general ledger and cost centers

Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated issues

Support month-end close including AP reconciliations and accruals

Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements

Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Partner with accounting and finance leadership on reporting and planning

Qualifications

Proven experience managing accounts payable operations

Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and best practices

Experience leading and developing staff

Proficiency with AP and ERP systems

Strong Excel and analytical skills

Preferred Experience

High-volume or multi-entity AP environments

Experience with ERP implementations or system upgrades

Manufacturing, distribution, or shared services background

Compensation : $100,000-120,000
