What We Need:

Motivated journalist, able to turn complex issues into conversational, compelling, and focused stories. Must have clear voice and enunciation for reporting and anchoring, with engaging and conversational delivery.

What You'll Do:

• News reporter, writer, anchor.

• Gathers, writes, edits, and prepares content (text and audio) for online and on air.

• Excellent reading, writing, and pronunciation required.

• On scene as well as online reporting as assigned.

• Anchors newscasts as assigned.

• General newsroom responsibilities.

What You'll Need:

• Excellent news writing skills, excellent grammar and spelling.

• Conversational writing style, maintain journalistic credibility and integrity.

• Follow news, understand complex issues and governmental processes.

• Clear voice, clear enunciation, conversational and engaging delivery.

• Self-motivated, passionate about news, collaborative team player.

• Able to adapt to new software, edit audio (Adobe Audition and Audacity), post on web.
