Engineer - EE Systems Integration & Validation

The Engineer - EE Systems Integration & Validation will be responsible for integration, troubleshooting, analyzing, testing electrical components, systems, vehicle electrical systems and maintaining test and diagnostics software.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to) :

• Perform Electrical and Powertrain component integration and validation.
• Support all engineering platforms to develop, validate, and test vehicle electrical systems.
• Work with engineers and technicians to design and build prototypes.
• Support vehicle production at Karma manufacturer especially with building test bench software for production
• Test electrical components / systems using HIL applications.
• Validate / implement UDS service routines, DTCs, ensuring diagnostic coverage of vehicle functionality, and developing test cases.
• Maintain existing software pipelines that vary from diagnostics to lab test cases.
• Assist in writing system requirements and procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting on vehicle electrical systems and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop the laboratory procedures and perform electrical, EMC and environmental testing.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

Prefer to have the following experiences :

Automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN / LIN / FlexRay)Experience with automotive vehicle mechanical and electrical system architectures (e.g., distributed control systems)Experience with Hardware In-Loop (HIL) systems

Compensation :

$75,000 - $85,000 / annual salary. Compensation will vary DOE.

At Karma, our base pay is one part of our total rewards package.

Compensation offered may vary on multiple factors, including market location, education, skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position being offered.
