[job_card.job_description]Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care to patients in both clinic and hospital settings Handle inpatient admissions and perform surgeries as needed Participate in call coverage, ensuring patient needs are met promptly Perform hospital rounds and manage post-operative care for surgical patients Collaborate with a highly experienced tech staff to deliver quality care Clinic Hours : Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings (8 : 00 AM 12 : 00 PM) Call Requirements : Includes call duties for both inpatient and outpatient care Holidays Allowed : New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Licensing : Must be licensed in Wisconsin or eligible for IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) Certifications : Fellowship : Preferred but not mandatory Board Certification : Not required; Board Eligibility is acceptable EMR System : Epic Credentialing Timeframe : Standard credentialing is 90 days, but emergency credentialing is available if needed Temporary Privileges : Yes, available to expedite start date Admissions : Required Hospital Privileges : Yes, required for surgical procedures The practice utilizes an experienced tech staff to support clinic operations The role requires full participation in both inpatient and outpatient care, offering a comprehensive scope of ophthalmology services Ideal for physicians seeking locum tenens work in a dynamic and supportive environment
