Overview
Job Summary: A CLUB FITTER assists customers in making good buying decisions about purchasing golf gear. That assistance includes club fitting. Club Fitters report to the GENERAL MANAGER.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- An in-depth knowledge of the game of golf
- familiarity with golf retail products
- An In-depth knowledge of golf equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills; knowledge of Google workplace, MS Office, or similar software
Experience Required
Education and Experience
- 1+ year of golf experience required
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Essential Responsibilities
Functions:
- Fit customers to golf equipment as per Miles of Golf protocol.
- Assist customers of the Company with their purchasing needs
- Ensure customers have been provided the opportunity to learn about all services the Company offers.
- Assure Company merchandise is presented in an organized and appealing manner.
- Participate in the cleaning of the store.
- Process point of sale transactions per Company policy
- Schedule club fitting appointments
- Schedule golf lesson appointments
- Regrip clubs. Training will be provided
- Participate in the restocking of Company merchandise.
- Assist in taking physical inventory of the store.
- Monitor customer activity to assure the Company’s assets are secure.
- Collect customer information and accurately enter it into the Company’s computer system.
- Other tasks necessary to sell the merchandise and services of Miles of Golf.
