Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are sourcing for a Logistics Coordinator for a midsized company on their Logistics Team. The position is a Direct Hire, onsite in Huntington Beach, CA. Pay is up to $87K DOE.

Job Duties are including, but not limited to :

• Oversee all aspects of logistics, including sourcing and procurement of materials and supplier, pricing, contracts, pull point strategies.
• Create and retain clear and organized records of market analysis, delivery information, price sheets, and other supply chain functions. Strong Data Entry skills required.
• Direct and coordinate supply chain functions.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies.
• Maintain contact and relationships with national vendors.
• Collaborate with various departments, including accounting and marketing, to ensure accurate cross checking of pricing, delivery information, and invoicing procedures.
• This role has a variable schedule including morning and afternoon shifts Monday through Friday. Additionally, this role requires occasional availability to be on-call to respond to carrier / customer inquiries overnight / on the weekends.
