We are looking for experienced Staff Backend Engineers to join our growing team!

You will...

Own large areas of the Assured platform, from business logic to data modeling to infrastructure.

Write lots of code : conceptualize, build, test, and ship new products and features for our customers.

Architect and implement large-scale infrastructure improvements.

Design and utilize new testing mechanisms and procedures.

Create reliable systems and high-leverage abstractions that enable faster product velocity.

Lead, mentor, and learn from other engineers on our growing team.

You have...

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Experience building and scaling high-quality products and codebases from early stages to maturity.

A strong engineering background and history of designing systems.

In your first month at Assured, you may...

Launch a migration to IaC-based infrastructure that will support easy creation and destruction of unique, isolated environments for each customer.

Implement a new integration with a third-party vendor to correlate traffic light data with new insurance claims.

Design and implement a new anomaly detection system to proactively detect potential production incidents.

Build reusable test harnesses and then utilize them when developing a new product feature.
