Java Developer/Production Support

**Hybrid Remote | 2 weeks onsite per month in Merrimack, NH**

Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior to Principal level Software Engineer – Production Support to lead efforts in maintaining and enhancing the stability, performance, and reliability of IWMS client platforms and offerings.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay: $60 - $70/hr W2

In this role, you will apply your deep technical expertise across distributed and mainframe systems to ensure seamless operations of mission-critical applications that support our intermediary (clearing and custody) business. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to drive incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in evolving our support practices, improving observability, and mentoring engineers in production excellence.

• L1/L2 Java application support
• Good understanding of Java-based API’s (ability to break fix and maintain small bits of Java code)
• Understanding of event-driven architecture
• Linux shell scripting
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted apps, preferably AWS
• Exposure to any queuing service (Kafka, SQS, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• SQL – ability write and execute queries
• Logging skills with tools like Splunk and Datadog

• Bachelor's and or Master's Degree

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
