[job_card.job_description]Accurately fills prescriptions, packs orders, and operates PARTA machines; restocks freezers with gel packs and rotates inventory. Prepares and ships medications while ensuring drug integrity, sterility, and stability. Follows detailed checklists with precision and maintains clean, organized workspaces. Communicates patient updates through package inserts for holiday or unscheduled closures. Verifies daily shipping manifests, addresses, and delivery schedules. Collaborates with pharmacy staff to resolve order issues and update shipping details. Reconciles packing slips and carrier invoices, submitting reports to management. Tracks and reports weekly shipping supply usage and abstracts. Maintains and resets the shipping area daily, handles waste disposal, and oversees facility security at closing. HS diploma required Candidate must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must have 2-3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience. Fundamental knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel Ability to work as a team and collaborate accordingly Willing to work morning and / or afternoon shift required Flexible multi-task-oriented worker Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work on your feet for 95% of the day
OVERVIEW :
Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world's largest distributors of Health care systems, medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Technician.
IMPORTANT NOTES :
- This will be an onsite role.
- Candidate must hold a Texas State Board of Pharmacy License.
- Duration : 3 months assignment with possible extension
- Work location : 8277 BELLEVIEW DRIVE, Plano, TX 75024
- Work schedule : Monday-Thursday 8 : 30am-5pm and Friday 8 : 30am-4pm || 40 hours per week
- Candidate will have 1 week of training for all areas.
