General Surgery Locums Job in Grand Island, Nebraska 24 Hour Call

Assignment Details : 24 hour call

EMR : EPIC

Level III Trauma

Support staff : Inpatient coverage only hospital staff

Procedures / Duties :

General Surgeon should be comfortable with all basic general surgical procedures.

Acute care surgery and trauma surgery

Will be responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the general surgery or trauma service as well as any consult received during the assignment.

Requirements :

Board Certified in General Surgery or Board Eligible

Nebraska license required, or IMLC (LOQ in hand)

Completion of a General Surgery residency

ATLS

Clean malpractice preferred

Local candidates preferred, but not required
