Cert – Surgery Technologists

(ORT) has a limited technical background and performs routine Patient Care activities and related non-professional services in the care of sub-acute and acute patients undergoing Surgical Procedures. The ORT works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Knows philosophy and objectives of the Nursing Department and supports these premises. This position requires providing care / service to an acutely ill through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and / or developmental age of the individual served. We are a high volume OR with many specialities including general surgery urology ENT orthospine gastroenterology GYN and CVOR utilizing the da Vinci Xi da Vinci Si and Mako robots. #hellosurgicaltechs #Cardiovascular #CVOR

Job Requirements

Minimum :

Must have a minimum of six months experience in an acute care Surgery Department and be able to perform as the scrub personnel in all specialties.

• Six months experience may substituted if the candidate has completed an ORT externship on-site within the last year. If operational conditions permit training a candidate without the required experience may be considered but must be a recent Graduate from an or Tech Program and certified.
• OR Tech Certified required
• CPR / BLS Certification required
