Responsibilities
The Personal Care Service Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home. Specific job duties include reporting observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director, notifying the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur, driving safely, complying with traffic regulations, and assisting clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, dental care, nail care, skin care, and transfer of patients. Assists with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.
Education and Experience
Desired experience in home care preferred. Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients' needs. Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient. Able to work independently. Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
