Preschool Teacher The Learning Experience Ashburn Location : Ashburn, VA

Pay : $19$22 per hour (based on experience & credentials)

Schedule : Full-Time, MondayFriday

The Learning Experience Ashburn is seeking a warm, energetic, and reliable Preschool Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. Our preschool classroom provides a structured, play-based environment where children build confidence, independence, and school-readiness skills while discovering the joy of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a preschool classroom and create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Implement The Learning Experiences curriculum to support early literacy, STEM concepts, social-emotional learning, and creative expression.
• Promote positive peer interactions and guide children through daily routines and transitions.
• Build strong relationships with families through consistent, professional communication.
• Partner with co-teachers and center leadership to maintain program quality and meet licensing standards.
• Support childrens progress by observing, documenting, and individualizing learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or daycare center (required).
• Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR / First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements.
