Description
- Reports to work on time as scheduled
- Patient check in / out
- Answer, assist, and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner
- Enters patient data into computer system and ensures all information is entered correctly (including correct name as on insurance card, insurance information, correct phone numbers, address, PCP, emergency contact and email)
- Ensures insurance information is attached correctly when applicable
- Separates and send all appropriate papers to the doctor and to be indexed
- Scan in all appropriate cards and identification
- Collecting copays and self-pay visits, deductibles, and other payments
- Balances end of day
- Travels to satellite offices as needed
- Routine clerical tasks
- Other duties as assigned
