Public Area Attendant

POSITION PURPOSE : Assist with routine and special cleaning needs of the hotel's public areas in a timely and efficient manner.

Pay Starts at $20.31 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

1.

Perform all tasks as assigned by housekeeping management.

2.

Promote excellent guest / associate rapport by completing all requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously.

3.

Clean and maintain all assigned areas in accordance with the established standards of cleanliness.

4.

Report all repair needs to appropriate department.

5.

Maintain and ensure all equipment is in safe, clean condition, and in place.

6.

Support work efforts of other housekeeping associates as directed.

7.

Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

1.

Must be punched in, in uniform, and ready for work as scheduled.

2.

Must be detail-oriented.

3.

Must represent hotel in a courteous and well-groomed manner.

4.

Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, grasp, stretch, and push a cart on a regular basis.
