Job Summary :

The It Specialist will be responsible for managing a variety of IT tasks and providing technical support to ensure the smooth running of IT systems and applications. This position will be particularly focused on ensuring alignment with corporate standards, security protocols, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support
• Provide first line troubleshooting and technical support to all employees across various domains (hardware, software, and network issues).
• Assist in setting up and maintaining computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance.
• Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
• System Integration
• Collaborate with IT teams in the Americas-Region (USA, Mexico, Brazil) and Germany to facilitate seamless integration of systems, data, and processes.
• Document processes and provide training to staff as needed.
• Network Management
• Monitor network performance, security, and reliability, addressing any issues that arise.
• Support the setup and maintenance of VPNs, firewalls, and other security measures to protect company data on a corporate level.
• Software and Hardware Management
• Assist in the procurement, installation, and maintenance of software and hardware used across the organization.
• Ensure all software is updated and compliant with licensing and security standards.
• Collaboration and Communication :
• Work closely with other IT team members in Germany and departments to align IT initiatives with business goals.

Provide excellent communication and support, promoting a culture of collaboration.

Documentation and Reporting :

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support activities, and integration milestones.

Generate periodic reports on system performance, support requests, and integration progress.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role.

Strong knowledge of IT systems, network concepts, and troubleshooting methods.

Familiarity with integration processes or previous experience in multinational IT environments is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.

Requirements :

Education

Bachelor’s degree in :

Information Technology

Computer Science

Information Systems

Cybersecurity

Or a closely related field

Knowledge in : Hardware & Software

Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops / laptops

Printer and peripheral support

Operating system management (Windows, macOS, sometimes Linux)

Networking

Understanding of LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP

Basic network troubleshooting

Knowledge of firewalls, routers, and switches

Systems & Administration

Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs)

Microsoft 365 / Exchange administration

Endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, Jamf, etc.)

Security

Basic cybersecurity practices

Antivirus / EDR management

Access control and MFA support

Certifications(Preferred)

Common ones include :

CompTIA A+ (help desk, entry-level)

CompTIA Network+

CompTIA Security+

Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure, M365)

Cisco CCNA (networking)

Experience

Mid-level : 2–5 years in IT administration or support
