A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator to provide customer service to referral sources and their patients.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls, responding to inquiries and completing follow-up as needed
Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and process orders accurately and timely
Document all activities in patient records while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Six months of inbound customer service experience
Preferred : Associate's degree, LPN, or Professional Certification in a related field
Preferred : One year of inbound customer service experience in a medical / healthcare / insurance related field
