Inventory Cycle Counter

US Farathane is currently seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter, which will be responsible for completing scheduled cycle counts and supporting the Materials Department as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels as assigned to meet company objectives
• Responsible for scheduled cycle counting of raw material, components, and finished goods
• Assist in plant organization to determine and label locations for raw material, components, and packaging
• Assist as required in plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals
• Support plant annual physical inventory activity
• Investigate and adjust negative inventories daily
• Perform all duties as requested by the Materials Manager
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)
• Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
