Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position is for an on-site paraprofessional skilled in American Sign Language (ASL) to support K-12 students within a school district located in Fresno, CA. The role requires working directly in educational settings, providing vital assistance to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, enhancing communication, and fostering a supportive learning environment. The position is a contract opportunity slated to begin as soon as possible through June 11, 2026, with hours determined on a per diem basis.

Key Responsibilities :

• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and support staff using proficient ASL skills.
• Assist students with educational tasks, ensuring accessibility and inclusion.
• Support classroom activities and adapt materials for students requiring communication assistance.
• Collaborate closely with educators and specialists to meet students' individual needs.
