  • Ford Automotive Technician / Mechanic Location :  Basil Ford Niagara Falls- 6980 Niagara Falls Blvd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 OR Basil Ford Walden- 1540 Walden Ave.

Cheektowaga, NY 14225 Automotive Technician / Mechanic Compensation :

  • Between $80,000 and $160,000 Annually plus up to a $10,000 sign on bonus for qualified technicians.  Schedule :   Full Time Automotive Technician / Mechanic Job Duties : Perform in depth diagnostics using Ford factory tools Diagnose and repair issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, electrical, and advanced driver-assistance systems Work on Ford commercial vehicles like Transit, Super Duty, E-Series, F-Series Service high-mileage heavy duty vehicles used in fleet operations Handle upfitted vehicles with special equipment Maintain uptime and quick turnaround for customers Perform thorough vehicle inspections, fluid changes, tire rotations, brake checks Ensure vehicles meet DOT requirement Utilize factory tools and service information resources Perform software updates and calibrations Qualifications : Ford STS or pro level certification Pro Elite Status ASE certifications 3-5 years working on Ford vehicles Experience in diesel and gas engine repairs, especially on commercial vehicles Advanced knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diesel engines, hybrid systems and commercial chassis Proficiency in using scan tools and diagnostic equipment Willingness to continue ongoing Ford training Must have basic tools Must have valid NYS Inspectors License Valid Driver’s License required ​ for all positions Basil Benefits :   Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401k with Employer Match 3 Health insurance plans to choose from Dental Vision Life Insurance Disability Insurance Employee Social Events CLICK HERE  for more Basil Dealership career opportunities in WNY!   The Basil Family Dealerships are a proud EOE.
