Information about the Company : Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Chicopee, MA manufacturing plant.

Experienced Machine Adjuster

  • $22 / hr or higher depending on experience
  • 2 positions are opened on 1st shift 7am 3pm (for experienced candidates)
  • Additional positions are opened on 2nd & 3rd shifts
  • 5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required

Trainee Machine Adjuster

  • $20 / hr or higher depending on relevant experience + shift premium on 2nd & 3rd shifts
  • Positions are available on 2nd & 3rd shifts for this position
  • 4+ years of Intermediate to Advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose / repair production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, etc.

    • Physical Requirements & Work Environment :

  • Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
  • Frequently required to lift and / or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
  • Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
  • Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
  • Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
  • Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.

  • Training typically takes place on 1st shift for 2nd & 3rd shift positions
  • 1st shift 7am 3pm; 2nd shift 3pm 11pm; 3rd shift 11pm 7am
  • 2nd shift premium $1 / hr / 3rd shift premium $2 / hr
  • The schedule is Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season / based on business needs
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility required with machine assignment.
  • The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role.
