Job Responsibilities :

• Full-time responsibility of 7.5 24-hour shifts per month, with the option to work a minimum of 5.5 shifts / month (benefits eligible).
• Manage an annual delivery volume of 1,924, which includes 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries handled by hospitalists.
• Oversee a 40% C-section rate within the delivery caseload.
• Conduct 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB / GYN triage visits and 1,229 OBED consults annually.
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting.
• Work closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancy management.
• Perform OB triage, admissions, attend deliveries, and provide inpatient care.
• Serve unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.
• Conduct ER consults for GYN emergencies and assist with surgical procedures during Cesarean sections.
• Respond promptly to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
