Job Summary :

Elite Rooter is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining payroll records, and providing excellent customer service to employees.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process payroll for all company employees accurately and on time
• Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
• Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department / division transfers
• Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
• Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests
• Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Assist in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation as required
• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations
