Base pay range

$200,000.00 / yr - $300,000.00 / yr

We’re working on behalf of a start‑up that is looking for a Quantitative Researcher to lead portfolio optimization, hedging, risk management, and alpha generation efforts. The founder is a former executive with a successful exit in the AI boom, and the company aims to modernize wealth management.

The ideal candidate may come from an investment bank, a large wealth or asset management firm, or a leading hedge fund with experience in portfolio management, optimization, hedging, risk, and tax optimisation, and is comfortable working in a small, agile environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years commercial experience as a Quantitative Researcher / Analyst
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• Experience coding in Python, R, or a similar language
• Prior experience working with Portfolio Managers or Traders would be ideal
• Strong educational background in mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science preferred
