Cleaner

Job Title : Cleaner Company Overview : SupportEd LLC is a leading provider of educational support services in New York City. We work closely with schools and other educational institutions to provide high-quality services that support student learning and success. Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students and we are looking for a Cleaner to join our team. Position Summary : We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our office and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities :

• Clean and maintain the office and facilities, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Empty and clean trash and recycling bins
• Restock supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
• Sanitize high-touch areas, such as door handles and light switches
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be restocked
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up after meetings and events
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Working Conditions :
• This is a physically demanding job that requires bending, stooping, and standing for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Must adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
