Title : Youth Development Professional-Orem Jr. High
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation : $15-17 / hour
Work Schedule : Part Time, Afterschool to 6 pm
Location : Orem, Utah
Main Objective
To nurture healthy relationships with youth, parents, faculty, and co-workers. Educate and develop youth's social & emotional intelligence, create positive experiences, and establish a physically & emotionally safe environment. Nurture harmony and relationships at your school site.
Hours Expectations
9 to 11 am and 2 : 30 to 5 : 30 pm MTThF; 1 : 30 to 5 : 30 PM W
Training
In addition to your normal site program hours, you have the following training requirements.
Program Start Training : TBD by Site Director / Coordinator.
Weekly : Orchestrated and scheduled by your Site Director / Coordinator at your school, you will have weekly staff site meetings that may be 30 to 60 minutes long. Staff meetings are scheduled immediately after the program.
Monthly : Training is scheduled monthly. There are a couple of Saturdays during the school year for conference attendance.
Quarterly : TBD
Availability
The expectation is that you arrive and leave on time and work your assigned schedule, which includes additional hours for training.
Expectations
YDPs are expected to perform the following each day of the program at your assigned site.
