Note : Effective February 1 2026 the Oregon Judicial Department will implement a cost-of-living salary increase of 2.5%.

Benefits To You

We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees including mental health coverage.

10 paid holidays 2 floating holidays 3 personal business days separate sick and vacation paid leaves (prorated for part-time employees) and other employee benefits such as optional insurances and flexible spending plans.

OJD will pay you a 5% allowance for bilingual skills (includes ASL) if you can pass a skills test and are assigned to use those skills on the job.

Position Highlights

The Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene Oregon is hiring a Judicial Support Business Process Analyst (Analyst 2).

In this role you will work with our Judicial Support Supervisors to develop and document business processes. You will develop training modules about court business processes that will be delivered in person online and asynchronously. You will deliver training about court business processes courtroom technology and using online publications. You will maintain online libraries of training materials keep training logs and provide status reports to management. You will help the supervisors analyze statewide business processes and new legislation to identify training needs. You will help analyze how changes to legislation and policies could affect our court and business processes. You will develop test and implement revised or new business processes. You will also coordinate moderately complex projects using project plans milestone tracking and resource analysis.

Additionally you will provide administrative support. This work includes facilitating onboarding for new employees creating systems accounts and updating distribution lists. You will manage the payment registration and renewal of judicial association memberships. You will manage publication subscriptions and purchases for the legal library and maintain the court-wide publication database. You will respond to complex questions about publications and online publication services. You will also track expenditures and travel reimbursements and will report reimbursement requests to the Trial Court Administrator.

Part of your time will be spent working as the backup to our Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator.

Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a bachelors degree in business court administration public administration or a related field.

AND

At least two (2) years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities required for the position.

OR

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to six (6) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities for the position.

Note : Professional-level experience is defined as :

The ability to use independent judgment and discretion in performing work duties.

A level of specialized knowledge in the field of work with some authority for independent decision-making.

In-depth work requirements such as data gathering analysis and interpretation.

Interaction with a broad range of individuals.

Individual accountability for results.

Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis including process mapping evaluation and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine compliance with laws policies or standards and make recommendations.

Experience adapting or developing related policies procedures forms and best practices.

Experience developing comprehensive educational materials for and delivering instruction in multiple formats (in person online and asynchronously) to adult learners.

Skill in public speaking and providing presentations to groups of various sizes.

Ability to adapt to changes in work expectations processes and technology.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position and the work schedule is typically 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek.

Occasional early-morning evening weekend or holiday work may be required to meet deadlines or attend meetings.

Regular in-town travel.

Infrequent statewide travel including possible overnight stays or travel in inclement weather is required.

Occasional phone and in-person contact with people who may be frustrated or angry and facing challenging life circumstances highly stressful situations or trauma. Possible exposure to hostile litigants dangerous persons and high-risk inmates.

Long periods of sitting or standing while working at a computer.

Regular use of the following equipment : telephone OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors copy machine fax machine and scanner.
