A well established firm is searching for a Litigation Paralegal to join their team and focus on business and real estate litigation. This person will support 2 Attorneys and 1 Partner. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days working at home offered after the initial 30 day onboarding period.
Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in California

Strong understanding of the California Code of Civil Procedure

Thorough knowledge of legal terminology, key discovery statutes, principles and procedures

ABA Paralegal Certificate preferred but experience will be considered as well
Duties:

Summarize and index documents
-
Develop and implement databases to manage, sort, index, analyze and summarize large volumes of data

Assist attorneys in trial preparation

Prepare documents for discovery, including motions, depositions and document productions

Perform legal research
-
Prepare court filings, draft and issue subpoenas
-
90-110 billable hour requirement per month
