[job_card.job_description]Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary Administer medications as prescribed Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel Delegate tasks to support staff Inpatient experience required NOT open to ER candidates Two years of nursing experience required Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures required Good verbal and written communication skills required Computer skills required Required certifications : Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Referral bonus
