Network Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer II to enhance cybersecurity measures and protect network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Designs and implements cybersecurity rules for network components

Provides engineering and operational support for network resources, including VPNs and firewalls

Identifies and mitigates potential network security threats and anomalies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience

2 - 4 years of related experience in network security

Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls and VPNs

Familiarity with network security tools like Wireshark and Snort

Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible and programming languages such as Python is a plus
