Forklift Operator $17/HR 1st & 2nd Shift

Pay: $17/hour

Location: East Moline, IL

Job Summary

We are hiring a Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in East Moline, IL and Davenport, IA. In this role, you will operate a forklift for most of your shift while assisting with tote washing, container processing, scanning, and light repairs. This is an active, hands‑on position that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift for the majority of the shift
• Load and unload trucks and move containers, racks, and totes throughout the facility
• Manage the tote washing process, including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning plastic totes
• Work in process lanes for incoming containers and racks
• Remove manufacturer tags and scan items using a handheld device
• Perform light repairs on large plastic containers using basic hand tools (hand drills, screwdrivers)
• Review and interpret shipping paperwork to ensure correct container selection and outbound accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work area at all times

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of recent forklift or general labor experience
• Ability to pass a forklift driving test, including maneuvering through cones and handling pallets
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physically active environment

Additional Expectations

• Willingness to work up to 10 hours of overtime when required
• Availability to work Saturday shifts
• Ability to stand for the entire shift with frequent bending
• No heavy lifting beyond 50 lbs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
