This position will involve working 3x12 hours during the day shift. Candidates will be responsible for caring for step-down patients due to the unit's universal bed model. Daily patient care will include dealing with post-operative CABG patients and those with various cardiac conditions. Nurses will perform tasks such as arterial line management, blood product administration, and ventilator management. Responsibilities will also include monitoring patients with intra-aortic balloon pumps and managing cardiac drips. The position requires a high level of teamwork and effective communication due to the nature of patient care. Candidates must have proficiency in electronic health records. No history of license or background issues will be accepted. Local candidates within a designated radius are not eligible. The role may require working on weekends and holidays as per the contract requirements. The facility emphasizes infection prevention and proper use of PPE.
