Job Title : Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Profession : Registered Nurse

Shift : Full Time - 3x12 Night Shifts

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7pm - 7 : 30am)

Experience : Minimum 1 year experience in Med / Surg / Tele / Critical Care Units

License : Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS required through American Heart Association, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Must be cross-trained for multiple units (med / surg, ICU, ER).

Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

Must have critical care experience.

Description :

This position requires floating to various units including ICU, ER, MedSurg, and MST.

The shift is from 7pm to 7 : 30am with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Two on-call shifts are required every four weeks.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Professionalism and courtesy in dealing with others is essential.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is required.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Computer literacy is necessary.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients are essential.

The individual must understand principles of growth and development and be able to assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs.
