Wireless Test Engineer

SUMMARY

The primary function of the Wireless Test Engineer is to focus on conducting RF compliance testing. Responsibilities include setup, measurement, and documentation of tests. Interface with customers daily. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team structure. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional customer service skills, be motivated, well organized, detailed oriented and dependable. The exemplar candidate will possess a firm understanding of the following standards : EN 300 328, EN 301 893, EN 300 220 / 330 / 440, EN302 502, ETSI EN 301-489, ANSI C63.10, RSS-GEN. FCC Part 15, 22, 24, 27, 90; LP0002.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for performing RF and EMC testing to CE and FCC standards.
• Provide guidance services for RF regulatory (e.g. CE / FCC / ISED) related questions internally and externally.
• Support RF regulatory (e.g. CE / FCC / ISED) related tests, draft test plans and reports.
• Support quality initiatives of laboratory regarding general maintenance, calibration, testing process, etc.
• Function as the coordinating interface by tracking and communicating RF related projects.
• Analyze test data and reports and identify all deviations.
• Maintain confidentially of all TUV and client information.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
