This role is part of the New Shepard program. New Shepard is a reusable suborbital rocket system designed to take astronauts and research payloads past the Karman line - the internationally recognized boundary of space. Through operational reusability, New Shepard supports our mission of lowering the cost of access to space.

As part of a hardworking team, you will oversee and perform structural analysis for various structures and systems on the Crew Capsule, part of the New Shepard reusable launch vehicle. You will take ownership of the structural analysis and verification activities for vehicle design to improve vehicle safety, reliability, performance, and reduce operational cost. You will also support the disposition and repair development for manufacturing non-conformance and service damage. As a Principal Analyst, you will also coach, mentor, and technically guide other team members.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. The New Shepard team is headquartered in Kent, WA and hiring preference will be given to candidates who are willing to relocate to Kent, but applicants for Blue Origin's other on-site locations will be considered.

CO applicants is $160,618.00 - $224,864.85

Required for certain Job Profiles : Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
