Security Officer - Retail Mall Driving

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Driving in Tacoma, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for guests and staff. This driving post involves conducting routine vehicle patrols throughout the location, maintaining high visibility, and delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any irregularities.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Document all incidents and security-related activities according to Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment for customers.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
