As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.   • What You'll Do :
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  • Responsibilities :
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Screen individuals, vehicles, and / or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help maintain security-related protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or prohibited items.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Assist with crowd control and direct the flow of personnel and / or vehicles as needed to support site operations.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal leadership and location management regarding incidents, observations, and concerns in a timely manner.

  • Minimum Requirements :
  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Experience with access control systems and / or badge procedures is preferred.
  • Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
