Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Transportation Routing Specialist to play a key role in the success of our shipping operations. This position is essential to ensuring customer compliance, timely movement of goods, and flawless execution of routing requirements. The Transportation Routing Specialist will serve as the connection point between our company, carriers, and customers, ensuring shipments are scheduled, tracked, and delivered in line with customer routing guidelines and service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Log into customer routing portals (Walmart, WIlliams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, Sur La Table, Ross, Burlington, TJX, Amazon, etc.) to schedule and confirm collect freight pick-ups
• Plan and schedule prepaid shipments in the Transportation Management System (TMS), including printing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation
• Monitor, track, and trace shipments, providing updates and resolving exceptions as needed
• Follow up with carriers on missed pick-ups to ensure service recovery and prevent downstream delays
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure all routing activities are performed in compliance with customer requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and customer service to resolve routing issues in a timely and professional manner
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase routing efficiency, carrier performance, and on-time delivery metrics
• Daily liaison with vendor transportation teams via email and phone
• Recording of documentations BOL, etc., maintained through an internal system, RV

Compensation Range : $45,000.00 - $50,232.00 per year contingent upon experience
