Role : MicroStrategy Specialist

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative) :
- Plans, implements, directs, and coordinates activities supporting enterprise reporting and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Directs, conducts and coordinates tests to ensure that MicroStrategy products meet defined needs.
- Translates business requirements into design specifications and configurations for data stores, warehouses, and marts.
- Analyze industry and technology trends and advise clients on BI / analytics enterprise strategy.
- Manage the timely flow of MicroStrategy product changes to users.
- Identify and analyze MicroStrategy and business intelligence trends with business strategy implications.
- Create and maintain a library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance :
Minimum 5 years' experience in delivering MicroStrategy solutions.Professional MicroStrategy certificationBachelor's degree with preferred study in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering7 years of work experience in related field may be substituted for education.Strong understanding and of data models, analytics, ETL, and hands-on design, programming / scripting, testing experience around these areasAbility to design, develop, and implement mission-critical dashboards and reports.Analytical abilityExperience in designing solutions using MicroStrategyHands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.Ability to work in a team in diverse / multiple stakeholder environmentVerbal and written communication skills.
