Unit has 13 beds and a staff of 20 members. Day shift includes 1 charge nurse and 3 RNs. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 3 RNs. Patient ratios are estimated at 5 : 1, sometimes 4 : 1. Type of equipment includes EMR and Meditech. Candidates with Chemotherapy Certification will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed include Chemotherapy administration. Ideal candidates are sweet and smart. Unit is three years old, well-organized, and appears new. All equipment is in good working order, including computers and vital sign machines in every room. Staff provides high-quality care, evidenced by over three years without CAUTI and four months without CLABSI. There has been over one year without a C. difficile acquired infection. Last year, a team member received a Daisy Award. The unit has over 160 years of combined experience among its 20 staff members. The Director has been in her role for over five years.
