18643-1 Test Technician Level 1, Chelmsford, MA (Secret / Ability to Obtain)

DESCRIPTION

What You’ll Do :

  • Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
  • Work from Process / Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
  • Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
  • Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

Job Details :

  • Must be US Citizen.
  • Active Secret Clearance or Ability to Obtain Interim Secret Clearance.
  • 4 / 10 Work Week.
  • 2nd Shift 4 : 00 PM - 2 : 30 AM Mon through Thurs, with possibility for Overtime.
  • $23.00-25.00 / hr.
  • Duration : 10 / 27 / 2025-4 / 27 / 2026.
  • Non-Exempt.
  • Contract Position.
  • Worker will work Onsite Full Time.

    • MANDATORY :

  • Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures and test equipment.
  • Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
  • High school diploma or GED.

    • DESIRED :

  • Experience with electrical and / or micro-electronics preferred.
