Job Title : Senior SAP ABAP Consultant - Pharma / Life Sciences

Location : Foster City, CA or Raleigh, NC

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S / 4HANA, ABAP on HANA, RAP, and Fiori / UI5 , ideally within regulated environments such as Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences . The role involves architecting and delivering enterprise-grade solutions, enabling extensibility on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) , driving modernization initiatives, and working closely with compliance stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 12-15+ years of SAP ABAP development ; minimum 3-5 years in Life Sciences or Pharma .
  • Successful delivery in at least two SAP S / 4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations.
  • Experience in custom Fiori / UI5 development and SAP BTP extensions .
  • Familiarity with validation documentation (URS, FRS, IQ / OQ / PQ) is highly preferred.

  • SAP Cloud Integration / CPI iFlows
  • RFC, IDocs, SOAP, REST APIs
  • External MES / LIMS / Serialization interfaces

    • Domain Experience - Pharma & Life Sciences

  • Working knowledge of GxP regulatory processes and validation guidelines.
  • Experience with CFR 21 Part 11, audit trails, e-signatures.
  • Hands-on projects involving :

    • Batch manufacturing, QA / QC workflows

  • Lab information systems (LIMS)
  • MES systems & Manufacturing traceability
  • Serialization / Track & Trace (GS1, DSCSA)
  • Temperature or cold chain tracking
