Director – Clinical & Business Applications

Our client is a healthcare organization in Southern Connecticut looking for a Director of Application Services. This leader will oversee a team of analysts responsible for clinical and business systems, ensuring the application services division strategy supports and advances the organization’s objectives.

Compensation range, $140,000 - $165,000
Location, Orange CT area

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Application Analysts who support various applications, including EHR, HIM, financial systems, and other clinical applications
• System Functionality: Ensure system functionality meets the needs of various departments
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with top-level leadership to ensure application development and deployment align with organizational goals
• Patient Care Focus: Work to improve the quality of patient care through the delivery of high-performing systems

Qualifications:

• Healthcare Leadership: Prior hands-on leadership experience with application teams in a healthcare/hospital setting is required
• Hospital Operations Knowledge: A strong understanding of hospital functions and how system changes can impact the organization is essential
• Communication: Effectively act as the liaison between the technical teams and the leadership of the organization (high visibility role)
