Whats the Opportunity?
Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time coastal engineer for our Daphne, AL, Corpus Chrisi, TX, or Houston, TX offices to help lead our gulf coast project teams with coastal engineering, flood resiliency, and water resources projects. We are interested in candidates who are quick learners, detail-orientated, committed team players, and who possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Applicants will have between 10 15 years of experience with coastal engineering, including hydrodynamic and / or hydraulic numerical modeling experience. Experience with coastal engineering concepts such as beneficial use of dredged material, shoreline protection, living shorelines, marsh restoration, and engineering with nature and nature-based solutions are preferred. Experience with water resources concepts such as hydrology, water quality, and dam removal are also preferred, as is proficiency using CAD, GIS, and / or programming languages, such as python.
