Overview
It is an exciting time to join Fisher Investments! We are expanding our Generative AI capabilities to support our international growth. We are looking for an AI Engineer who will design, build, and optimize advanced AI applications leveraging large language models, GPU‑accelerated computing, and modern API frameworks.
The Opportunity :
The AI Engineer will architect, implement, and optimize production-ready generative AI systems, working closely with AI leads, ML engineers, and platform teams. You will develop solutions powered by LLMs, NVIDIA GPU frameworks, and scalable microservices, ensuring they are performant, secure, and seamlessly integrated with enterprise systems. You will report to the Application Development Team Leader, Innovation Engineering.
The Day-to-Day :
- Develop, fine-tune, and deploy Generative AI models (LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, multimodal models) into production environments
- Optimize GPU‑accelerated training and inference using NVIDIA technologies (NIM and NEMO Framework)
- Apply NVIDIA NIMs for model optimization and scaling, and use NeMo services for model development and fine-tuning
- Build scalable APIs and microservices using Fast API to expose AI capabilities across the enterprise
- Collaborate with AI Infrastructure team to design robust LLM pipelines for model training and retrieval‑augmented generation
- Integrate AI systems with enterprise applications using secure, cloud-native architectures
- Ensure AI models are explainable, reliable, and compliant with regulatory and internal governance standards
- Work with cloud-native AI infrastructure (Azure Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, vector databases, GPU clusters, Guardrails)
- Monitor and improve model performance through evaluation frameworks, observability tools, and continuous optimization
