Part-time Weekend Server

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Weekend Server to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323.  Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care / skilled nursing suites. Must be able to work Saturday 4 : 00pm-7 : 30pm and Sunday 10 : 30am-2 : 30pm (including holidays) to be considered for this position. Additional hours may be available during the week.

This position will pay up to $16.15 / hour (straight pay / no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

As a Server you will take orders and serve food to residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner. Additional responsibilities of this job include setting-up the dining room and designated areas in the kitchen in anticipation of meals, and clearing tables, meeting diners’ needs, handling food safely, delivering food to apartments, and cleaning kitchen and dining areas.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred.

Minimum age of 14 years old is required.
