Henry Ford Health, in partnership with Ascension Medical Group, is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Electrophysiologist to join its Heart Rhythm Institute. This full-time, leadership-track opportunity is open at both Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit and Henry Ford Warren Hospital in Warren, Michigan. The role offers a high-volume practice with built-in referrals, advanced procedural support, teaching opportunities, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Description :
- Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiac electrophysiology services at :
- Henry Ford St. John Hospital (Detroit)
- Henry Ford Warren Hospital (Warren)
- Work Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. 4 : 30 p.m., with shared on-call coverage (2 : 1 ratio) with another EP physician
- Travel between Detroit and Warren locations as needed
- Perform procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, as well as right- and left-sided ablations
- Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks at multiple hospitals; APP independently rounds at Henry Ford St. John Hospital
- Build and manage a patient panel with strong internal referral streams and high existing volume
- Collaborate closely with an experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and a skilled support team
- Join a teaching hospital with more than 200 residents and 30 fellows; engage in medical education and mentoring
- Contribute to high-acuity patient care in Level I and Level III Trauma Centers
- Use Cerner EMR (transitioning to Epic in late 2025 early 2026)
