Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift - Goshen, IN

Schedule : 2nd Shift, 3 : 00pm – 12 : 00pm

Overview :

As a Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift. you will perform a wide range of tasks including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment, buildings and grounds. You will be responsible for carrying out these duties in line with safety standards to help achieve the site's business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Lubricates and cleans parts. Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Starts devices to test their performance.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
