Legal Assistant - 5 years of Civil Litigation

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with an extensive amount of experience to join our ever-growing legal team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to a Partner and Associate attorney in our firm. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in State and Federal Court filing experience. • Duties
• Assist attorneys with case management by organizing files and maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Transcribe legal documents and correspondence as needed.
• Docketing / Calendaring.
• Origanize case files;
• File Pleadings in both State and Federal Court.
• Bates numbering
• Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for various legal matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Civil Litigation Legal Assistant is a must.
• Familiarity with Civil litigation
• Proficient in using Pacer, and other Court filing systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong transcription skills for accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of project management principles to assist in the coordination of legal projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Must be Proficent in :

• MS Office products
• Adobe Professional or other PDF programs
• WestLaw
• Pacer
