RN – Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon.   This posting represents a full time day shift position.   Hours are 7am-7 : 30pm (3, 12 hour shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays.   $6,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment

Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients.   We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment.

Our unit is known for its exceptional continuity of care, with many caregivers having long tenures and deep relationships with our residents and families. Accountable for direct and indirect quality care for resident, according to the individualized needs of the resident, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Accepts professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. Coordinates resident care activities with other members of the health care team, and supervises the nursing care given.
